Is it 100% safe to remove the Facebook app. (Not facebook HTC sense or friendstream) or will it cause something to not function properly? I ask because its 50 mb and the app in the market is under 4 MB so I would just reinstall that. I'm trying to free up more internal space so sense doesn't restart all the time.

as long as it is not the htc sense facebook then you are ok to do it. you will not be able to remove the sense version anyways, since you are not rooted.
