Hello,

I keep getting this message when I open or refresh the main page of Facebook for Android 1.5.1:

"Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later. [Connection reset by peer]"

It used to work fine and out of the blue it doesn't do so anymore, I haven't installed anything new since it was working fine. If I roll back to 1.4.1 it works fine, but this older version lacks the chat.

If you've been able to fix this please let me know how, or if you have eny suggestions I'm willing to try :)

Thanks in advance!

Of course I had to roll back to 1.4.1 and upgrade again to 1.5.1 for the third time and post here in the forum for the message to go away...damn Murphy!

That's exactly what happens El Presidente.

I found out what it is. It's the latest upgrade, it goes from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1, which is buggy.

On my phone, I went to:

facebook1 5 0 apk

Downloaded and installed 1.5.0 and badda-bing badda-boom!

Not planning to upgrade until 1.5.2 or higher, can always roll back to 1.5.0, in which the push notifications work....but the chat is kinda buggy....but between buggy notification or buggy chat, I chose buggy chat....

Yes the update has an issue, just use the previous version and it works fine. I don't seem to have any problems with the chat being buggy?
