Help Facebook contact issue

[sunitagt]

Hello,

I have a small issue with my phone. Everything works great except I can't link my brother's facebook to my profile for him on the phone contacts on my MyTouch 3g slide. I can see him on my facebook app, but when I try to search for his facebook profile through the contacts app, I can't find him, there is no contact for him there to link to the phone/email account. Anyone know what's causing this?

Thanks.

Do you have your Facebook account linked through the Friend Stream app? That is where the phone gets the Facebook contact information.

If so, try re-syncing your Facebook contacts through the Friend Stream app, then link the contacts.

It didn't put it the contact I'm having issues, but thanks for the suggestion.
