Facebook contact won't show

I recently re-installed facebook app and I'm not able to see facebook contact in people on droid maxx. When I go to "contact to display" it doesn't have an option to show facebook contacts. I tried to log out of facebook and log back in but it didn't help.

Do you have it to sync contacts in the Facebook app settings and the Facebook account under your settings/accounts & sync?

I go to phone settings, accounts Facebook app and when I click sync now, nothing happens.

Hmm that's really strange, have you tried removing the account from Accounts & Sync, then adding it yourself there?

Just removed it from accounts in phone settings and add it again. Logged in, restarted phone, same thing: no option to display facebook contacts in "people"

Have you tried downloading a third party contacts app like Contacts+ just to see if the issue is just with the stock app or not?

I would suggest downloading ubersync.
It does a great job syncing Facebook contacts and you have some control over how much info is synced.

Also...... Make sure you enable sync in the app settings as well as the account settings, that may be your issue.

Thank you, ubersync worked. But it's not pulling all the facebook contacts that I have contact in my phone. Any advise, thank you.

Their should be an option in the settings to sync all Facebook contacts.

Look under account settings.
Under picture size their is a check box that says something like "sync all contacts or sync existing contacts" if you check the box it should sync ALL Facebook contacts.
You may have to manually run sync again to make sure.

Also make sure the names match up. Sometimes if the name is misspelled uber won't match it up.
