Root Facebook contacts / custom rom question

If i install a custom rom, do my Facebook contacts still combine with my phone contacts? i like this functionality and wouldn't want to lose it.

that's a facebook option..nothing to do with rom....

with the new app from FB and phone running froyo you can do that with contacts.

i didnt know if thats the facebook app from the marketplace thats doing it, or something blur related.

it's a FB option, those with Android 2.1 don't get that option. Only 2.2!
