Facebook Contacts Gone

It seems since the recent update (that included chat) all linked contacts have been wiped out and they are no longer on my phone. Their contact info remains, since it's stored w/ google but picture and status updates are toast. Anyone else?

I have a few that show up (literally... like 5 or 10) with the FB avatar beside the name, but I used to have a few hundred like that.

check that.. it's not just fb contacts. my twitter contacts wont sync either. (not a twitter app. the built-in twitter and facebook sync profiles) anyone know what could be the problem?

btw.. non root fascinate

well, i deleted the facebook sync account and re-added, and then re-added all contacts. that seemed to do the trick.
