Root facebook contacts

I can't figure out how to add phone numbers to my contacts that were synced from facebook.

Yeah I've been wondering how to do that too. Maybe since it's Facebook-related that only if they supplied a phone number, that is when it shows? I tried adding a new number for the same person. It works but you have to keep track which is the Facebook and which is just their number.

Anyone else care to share?

This is the main reason I joined this forum. The whole Facebook ads a contact and its screwed up and has a 1 added to it and then I cant edit it *screams and pulls out his hair*

You go into the Facebook contact, hit edit, then hit menu > Join, then you can pick another contact and merge them.
