I have the fb contacts sync option off as I want to manually sync my contacts, but when I try to do so, it doesn't load any fb contacts for me to link to? I am logged in and all seems to be fine... what's the problem?
 
It seems if you have contact sync off for FB for HTC Sense, the phone won't recognize any of your friends and you can't link them to contacts.... if you have it on, you can link the ones it doesn't link for you, BUT it brings forward ALL your FB contacts into the phonebook.

The standalone Facebook account will not sync with anything ... it just allows you to access Facebook.
