Root Facebook Error - No Peer Certificate?

I'm posting this here bc I'm rooted and have ability to wipe facebook data with Titanium.

Received an error "cannot fetch data - no peer certificate" any idea what's wrong and how to fix?

I was having these same issues i think it was just the facebook server because mine cleared up by itself after about 20 minutes

I should always try this by default before I post. It's like my old IT guy "...did you restart it??" I'll see if the FB server clears as also suggested then I'll wipe, thanks...

I'm getting fed up with this junky HTC wildfire, I can't clear this error message either, can anyone help I've tried the previous suggestion.

I've tried multiple times to blow away FB and FB Messenger, download again from the market only to get the same b.s. error message about no peer certificate. This error message started earlier this weekend when I accepted a FB update. This is very frustrating so any advice would be appreciated.

These posts are all about the error message but unfortunately no clear fixes.

All of a sudden 3 days after wiping cache/dalvik it randomly starts working.
Im thinking it was the server .

Try this it work for me after clearing your cache. Set
Your time and date to the current time and date.
This was also reset when u clear your cache. After setting
Try to open ur facebook again.
