Help facebook @ facebook htc sense??

For some reason i have both of these apps on my phone. Do i need both? or can i delete one? and if so which one should i keep?

So you use just the facebook app and not facebook for HTC sense? what does it say when u post on facebook from ur phone i.e. update via android, and did u fully uninstall friendstream? that app seems like it would be a battery drainer as well.
 
facebook for sense is not the facebook app. facebook for sense allows the linking of facebook info to contacts and the upload picture integration etc but if you want to actually have a facebook app you need the Facebook for android app installed. Most people have both in use

Ahhh okay got it. So i guess the friendstream is kinda necassary then? since it does link with facebook, and it only seems to sync when clicked to.
 
i have it set so that facebook sense syncs with my contacts because the contact integration is much better than the android facebook app. but i still only use the actual android facebook app.

I was just about to ask about that to lol. I did notice that both have to option to sync contacts. Which to me seems kinda pointless to have both sync the same thing. So it wont hurt anything to just have the sense sync contacts and turn off the sync for the other?
 
facebook for HTC sense can't be deleted unless you rooted your phone and were running a Pure android ROM. If you don't want friend stream to drain your battery either remove the widget from your homescreen or just change the update schedule for facebook for htc sense and peep. I like friend stream because I like being able to post on twitter and fb at the same time (although tweetcaster can do that also)

Ahh okay. Thanks alot. Just one more little clarification then im done lol. The friendstream only ties in with the sense app and not the other facebook app?
