Facebook for LG on Revolution?

Does anyone know what the Difference is between the FB for LG that came on my Revolution and the FB available in the app store??
I am coming from an iPhone and have noticed that the FB for LG doesn't have a "check-in" option, does the regular FB app have a check in option??

Good question and I know I dont like the one from LG so I use one from market for Android and it has check in and chat

the facebook for android app in the market is about the same as the iphone version...facebook for lg is basically useless (you can sync your contacts in the facebook app too, so really no need for this one)

The Facebook for LG is basically the 1st version of Facebook for Android. The new one in the market is the same as the iPhone app. Downloaded it immediately.

OK, great to know. I have installed the FB app from the market and it is 10x better. it seems to operate faster, the FB for LG app kept hanging up and freezing.

I have converted over from 4 iPhones in a row and love this phone so far. It has been about 2 weeks now.

I really dislike the Facebook and Twitter for LG apps. If you initially set them up you might want to go into accounts and sync settings and remove them so they don't keep trying to update.

I would do that because I show two of them but dont know which one is which? Any advice? The LG apps for FB and Yahoo mail sucks

Click on the diff accounts, when the sync options come up, on top it should say Facebook or Facebook for LG(fb for LG has a smaller icon in accounts n sync)...
