According to this article, if you edit the build.prop file to make your phone appear as a supported device, you can use it.
Now, for the really devoted users out there, it is possible to trick the app into installing on your unsupported device. To do that, you must root your phone and edit the build.prop file to make the phone identify as a supported model.
I got it running... It's different for sure. It's definitely for people that live on facebook. Accessing anything else is a pain, IMO. Its going bye bye.
Specs. I would imagine it's resource hungry so to avoid trouble tickets galore, Facebook is limiting it to the latest and greatest phones. The article mentions that they plan to allow more phones to use it, but I assume they're testing it right now...perhaps with a beta group?
