Facebook/hotmail sites.

Does honeycomb, or the native browser not work with either of these sites? We just got our tablet on the weekend. Since the wife and I are both using it we aren't using the facebook app to link to either of our profiles, we just want to log in to the regular site using the browser but it either gives us an error or crashes the browser. Same with hotmail.

Does anyone know what the issue is here? I'm assuming if it's a native browser issue we can just use dolphin or something, but it just seems odd that we aren't ABLE to access either of these sites. If it's a honeycomb thing, then I don't know what.

I use the facebook site all the time. Sometimes there's a connection error when it tries to put you in the mobile site, but if you can get to the link to the desktop version and bookmark it, you should be all right.

I also have no problem using the facebook site.

I don't have a problem accessing either site in the browser. I've had the connection problem mentioned previously, but rarely. You can change your browser to show only desktop sites by doing this in the following link: http://androidforums.com/sprint-her...ent-string-setting-stock-android-browser.html

Ok thanks for the help. Guess we'll keep trying. I'll check out the link to changing the user agent when I get home.
