Help facebook linkage

So I woke up this morning and all my phone (google) contacts who are also facebook contacts are showing their facebook profile pics on my phone. For example got a text from my wife and her FB profile pic shows up in Messages, People, etc. I would like to turn this off if possible - the pic I had for her before was much better.

I've searched forums and all advise to go to People>Menu>View and uncheck Facebook, but it's already unchecked.

I can go through my contacts and manually unlink each one, but that's quite an undertaking. Also, it shows my FB profile pic for all the texts I send out. And I can't find anywhere to manually unlink myself.

Haven't been able to find any settings in the FB app that might cause this either.

Any tips? Thanks!

Are you logged into Friend Stream? If so, you need to log out of Friend Stream. It's Facebook, Twitter aps connect to your contacts.

If you dont want your contacts to be integrated, use the regular Facebook or Twitter aps.
 
Friend Stream? Yep, that was it. Thanks for your help. Never heard of that app before but it's on my phone (assuming it's a stock app) and there was a FB link set up. Not sure how that happened . . . insert your favorite FB conpsiracy theory here.

This happened with my Girlfriend.All I did was "unlink" her FBook profile and changed it back.
