Help Facebook Login Invalid

All attempts to login to Facebook for LG app result in, "Invalid username or password".
I can login ( and out) on my PC with the exact same username and password without problem.
My daughter managed to login to her facebook account with my 'phone first time after repeated failures with my info.
I have tried changing my username and password via my PC, still no go.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
Is there any setting in Facebook which might be causing this?

I would try deleting cache for the app, if that fails try a reinstall, if you can

try reinstalling the sns.apk app, there are files available at 4shared

Thank you for your replies. It turns out it was a setting in my facebook account.
In, " Choose your privacy settings Apps, games and websites" I had ticked
"Turn off all platform apps". (blush)
Oh well, maybe this will help someone else with the same problem.
