Root facebook message notification

Ok, so I'm on Apex 2.0 RC3 for .602 and it's great. Big improvement over the last rc. There are a couple bugs I've seen, but I'm not sure if this is an Apex bug, GB bug or facebook bug. I keep getting a notification that I have 1 new fb message, but I select it and nothing happens. Then I go to fb on a computer and there is no message for me.

Is anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to fix it?

The app is generating the notification, go into your Facebook app on your phone, press the "back" key, and see if you have any notifications in there. Sometimes my app holds onto notifications that are not visible on the desktop.

evidentally, I had an event message that was cleared from everything else but still caused the message notification b/c I had never actually opened the event message.
facebook messaging in the app really sucks...

facebook app for android is kinda pathetic if you ask me
lags, continues to show the wrong things, when you hit confim friend request it says ignore but still confirms it..
and it doesnt see most new posts, i think its facebook in general, im just waiting for everyone to move to G+
