facebook notification problem please help !!

Hi, when i get a message on facebook i receive a notification in the top display which is fine..... no problem. BUT when i press on the new message link in the pull down bar it doesnt take me to the message its trying to tell me about aarrgh. Any ideas ???

yeah, me too. the facebook for android app is good, but the notifications suck. u only get notifications for messages and friend request to begin with, and (for me) theyre not pushed. and like u say, the message doesnt open when u tap it. try facebook messenger, from facebook. its on the market, it does messaging better, and im pretty sure the notifcatinos for new messages/chat is pushed, and it opens the app when u tap it
