Help facebook notifications, tried everything...

well i guess everything but whatever works. I wasnt getting them for the whole time I owned (3) of these phones, then I put it as a widget (which I had done before...) and i started getting notifications. I made sure I had no other facebook apps or chat apps, its set up to not have any notifications, and ive deleted it from the widget but i keep getting them. should i just uninstall the updates? or what is it??

Uninstall the update. This annoying notification feature and Facebook's poor quality app is the reason why I am rewriting the entire app. I'm fed-up of looking at my wife's app for iPhone.

I have the same annoying problem with Facebook notifications. I even went to Facebook settings and disabled all notifications, yet somehow i still get them...i uninstalled the app and now i just use the browser to get on Facebook
