Help facebook notifications

So Facebook apparently had notifications working for awhile, but when I updated to the most recent version, I no longer get notifications.

Does anybody know what's going on? What happened to my notifications. As lame as it sounds, this is the one thing that I miss about my Blackberry.

Pretty sure its a known issue. I use Athena and it seems to update regularly but it also has a 'patch' that I installed that's probably doing some sync'ing in the background automatically for me.

Anyone else know for sure. I remember it not working at all with the stock ROM.

LOL...it is funny! But I am so confused as to why FB stopped all my text notifications!
