Help facebook photos not sync'ing with GS2 phone contacts

With my HTC Desire, if facebook photos were not automatically sync'd to contacts on my phone, I was able to "link" them manually.

But in my SGS2, when I go into "join contacts" either the contact name is not listed or the contact name is joined but there is no photo but there is a photo if you look at the profile on facebook on a computer.

Do I need to log into the Social Hub app? Because I tried that but still no difference. Some of my facebook contacts are not listed when I go to "join contacts".

I also tried downloading "Syncmypix" but that missed about 100 contacts so didn't fix the problem.

Any ideas?

have u selected Sync my existing contacts or sync all my contacts, from the facebook android app? if so, u should definitely see them as an option to join with ur existing contacts.. it did most of mine automatically, actually

I selected sync with existing contacts.. should i select sync all?

edit: yep selected sync all and it did the job!! thanks Heshanj!!

edit again: sorry what if i don't want all my facebook contacts in my contacts list, because obviously i don't call all the people in my facebook friends list. I want the photos to sync up but only want the contacts with phone numbers in my contact list. What setting do i need to select to do that? Thanks.

hmm.. ive set it to sync all, coz many of my facebook contacts have different names on their email to their facebook (dont ask why ) so the app didnt sync all my existing ones, so i set it to sync all and then manually joined the rest. u could give it a shot, i guess.. although u say none of ur contacts have the facebook link? that sounds a bit weird, coz even if u selected to sync only existing contacts, it should still sync some

yes it did sync some of the contacts but i couldn't find the others to sync the rest that didn't have a photo linked to them. but all done now too selected sync all in the facebook app then selected "only display contacts with phoen numbers" in the contacts settings!
