Facebook picture overriding other photos.

I've been having trouble with Facebook contacts ever since the 2.1 update.

I want to select a custom photo from my phone to use as a contact's picture, but no matter what I do, it always defaults back to their Facebook photo.

How do I fix this? It's terribly annoying that I can't keep the photo set for longer than two minutes.

I have the same problem, the only way to fix it I think is to unlink the contact from facebook. Which sucks.

No, it's possible to change it.

Just go to the contact whose picture you want to change, and make sure you're in the "details" tab. Then press the upper right-hand corner where it says "linked" (next to the name of the contact). You should be brought to a screen that shows the linked contacts. The thumbnail picture of the person on the top left should have an arrow next to it. Press the arrow/thumbnail to choose your contact photo.

That's what I've been doing. Within five minutes of changing it, the picture always reverts to their Facebook photo. It's terribly annoying.
