Help Facebook pictures not syncing

As you know, when you sync and link your contacts on Facebook to the ones on your phone you can get their profile picture and status as the contact picture for whenever they ring. My statuses are working ok but the pictures are not updating. Any ideas?

I have a solution to this, but I'll warn you, its not quick, easy or fun.

DELETE FACEBOOK FOR HTC SENSE from accounts and sync

And then link normal facebook contacts to all your contacts and the pictures will appear (without the little F in the corner) and they will update daily

Thanks for the reply, but is there not another way of doing it? There must be!

You can force a sync (there is an app available that does this, but cant remember the name), but its something you'll have to do manually every few days.

The problem is with Facebook for HTC Sense, so removing it completely will save you all the hassle.

I decided to get rid of it when facebook had a brief outage, Facebook for HTC Sense failed to sync, it decided to unlink ALL my contacts, and then when it did sync an hour later, only half the contacts came back, and even those few didn't link automatically
