Root Facebook Sync and CM7

Rooted Incredible running CM7.

My facebook is sync'd with my contacts, but I have one contact in my phone that is sync'd to the wrong person. Turns out two of my facebook friends have the same name, my phone decided to sync the one whose number I have with the wrong FB friend. I tried editing the contact entry but it says it's not editable from this device.

Anything I can do?

Anything I can do?

1. Go to contact.
2. Menu button.
3. Select edit. Now you are viewing all contact info.
4. Menu button.
5. Select separate.

Now follow the same process. When you reach step 5, you will select join.

6. Choose the contact you wish to join to the other.
7. Voila!

I know it's a year later, but I have the same issue. I just received the Incredible 2 and it is syncing one contact to facebook and that person doesn't have an account.

I followed...

1. Go to contact.
2. Menu button.
3. Select edit. Now you are viewing all contact info.
4. Menu button.
5. Select separate.

Now follow the same process. When you reach step 5, you will select join.

6. Choose the contact you wish to join to the other.
7. Voila!


However, after #4, there is NO options to 'separate'.

What now??
