Help Facebook sync problems

Hi, I just accidentally deleted the facebook sync account on my phone. I try to re add it and it just does nothing. I can add the FB htc sens, gmail, and twitter, but when I try to re-add the facebook account to sink it does nothing.

If anyone has any solutions I would be grateful to hear them

Were you able to resolve this? I'm having the same issue. Was able to add FB for HTC Sense back, but nothing happens when I select the standard app.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Facebook update, got to Add Account, selected FB, prompted to log in (successful), but then it still didn't get the account added to the Manage Accounts sync page. Did a soft reset, then tried again. Still no dice.
