Help Facebook Sync Question

I would like the "people" app on my Evo to sync with Facebook for profile pictures, but NOT to show status updates whenever I open the "people" app.

As it stands if I have it sync for pictures, it also is showing status updates in the "people" app.

All I want is pictures, not the rest of the clutter. Any help?

The only thing that I can think of is disabling the Facebook Live Feed sync. To do this: menu>settings>accounts & sync>facebook and just unselect the live feed check box.

dude, i have trying to sync FB to my phone/contacts. how do you do it?

Use the HTC facebook widget. I think its called Friends Stream. It will do its best to sync with your contacts as far as profile pictures go.
