Help Facebook syncing with contacts issue

[atmianzo]

Ok so I recently synched my facebook with my contacts. After getting everyone to be synched with their Facebook I've noticed a problem. Now when I get messages from a friend that was in my contacts and is synched to Facebook, their number shows up next to their name and it is super anoying. Can I fix this or should I just sync my facebook?

it looks like this...
Person(m ###-###-####):

is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

I don't think there is a way to change that in the stock text app. Maybe try a 3rd party app like go sms, chomp sms or handcent.
