Help Facebook to Contacts

How do you get your facebook contacts back? I accidentally deleted my facebook account and when I re-added it the contacts did not sync back. I have no idea what to do. I have added the native app that didnt help either. I actually like having them sync together most people i have on facebook i talk to.

Have you tried going to Settings > Accounts & sync, to make sure that Facebook sync is turned on, and that "Sync Contacts" is checked here?

I haven't found a menu setting to sync facebook. I did leave everything setup as it was and my facebook contacts appeared after awhile and i had to manually sync contacts together again. I'm assuming that it auto sync's itself after some time.

Now I did this, but when I click Facebook, it goes right back to the previous screen like nothing happened. I tried pulling the battery, unistalling and re-installing facebook and nothing. Any further on this ramsmith3530?
