Facebook Update

Running FB version 1.9.3 and have been experiencing lots of Wi-Fi dropouts when viewing. Not sure if this was an app issue, or a phone issue. I returned my phone for a new S2, and still experience this "No connection" messages from FB at least once a day.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any workarounds? Is this a problem with Android v 2.3.6? Any help is appreciated?

I feel like the Facebook app is notorious for being extremely buggy. I also get the same issue now and then (and sometimes even when I'm on HSPA+ or 3G), but that is only an addition to the monumental list of other bugs that the app has. In short, there is a high probability that it's the app that's causing the issue.
