Sorry, its version 1.3.0!! Check it out. Looks like it just released. Different start page and looks like they took away "poke" notifications.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.

Yep, still relies heavily on the browser for notifications. If you go into settings, they only give you options to be notified for friend requests and messages. Why aren't wall posts and comments part of the notifications?

And why did they take away "pokes"?!?! I wish the iPhone version of this app would just be carried over to the Android platform.
This version stays running in the background. Wonder if that will effect battery life much?
I don't like this "running in the background as a service" business... I don't have notifications turned on, so it should be constantly running.![]()
I'm concerned about the fact that it's always running. I noticed it specifically and came here to see if you guys were discussing it (and you were).
Something to keep an eye on the next few days. Definitely showing up as the top "partial wake" application right now but I haven't noticed additional battery drain.
About damn time they updated it, its definitely better than before, but still far from perfect. Hopefully the next update will allow us to view posts posted by facebook applications on profile walls
