Facebook video wont play(unknown error)

When i try to play video clips on Facebook they wont play but funny enough when i am rolling the facebook pages and come to a clip it seems to be playing without sound i have'nt done anything but if i click to play i get the error message.
All other video clips play fine on whatsapp bbc etc.
All advice welcome.
 
uninstall and download the one from playstore and don't update it through other app stores sometimes you get the latest bugs that way so from the playstore only

That done the trick the facebook app i had come from play store i never use apps from anywhere else.

Spoke to soon still wont play.
I dont understand when i am rolling the page and there is a video clip there the cog icon is already spinning and there is a small bar chart on the bottom right which is flickering but when i click to play video it wont play to due unknown error.
It's not a big problem as i can watch on my tablet.

Report the bug to "Facebook" from the device that you are experiencing the technical problem.
Open the Facebook app and select the bug report section in the app.
