Facebook just starting posting notifications in my pulldown bar. There is no number over the Facebook icon like there is with the Messaging or E-mail apps, but it still tells me I have new messages. Finally!

yea i kinda thought that too. never hurts to ask..lol funny thing is. for about 2 hours lastnight i got the notifications just fine, kinda started when i got one just after i closed FB. thought it was just a fluke, then i got like 6 notifications in about 2 hours. but havent had any since???????????

I didn't do anything, not even download an update. The notifications just started showing up by themselves. Could the Facebook App update itself automatically in the background?

my notifications from the fb app come and go now it can be days before i will get a notification in my status bar so i gave up on it. i just use Flow now and i get the pop up box like the iphone does when someone likes my status, posts on my wall, or comments on something i commented on. plus messages, friend requests and birthday/events notifications are also pop ups. the app has 2 versions free and paid. im not sure but i think the only difference between the 2 is the refresh times you can pick, with the paid app you can choose intervals below 15 minutes.
