Help FACTORY MODE

OK,if you're stuck, might as well try something else.
I'd go w/the KIES & see if it'll restore your phone.

OK.. NOW WHEN IT BOOTS UP IT DOESN'T BOOT UP INTO A MODE.. AND THAT'S A GOOD THING...BUT... IT BOOTS UP.. AND IT'S JUST A BLACK SCREEN

OK,did you use ODIN,or KIES to restore?
Just curious & to get an idea of where we're at.
Can you boot into recovery?
If so,do this (Wipe Cache Partition):
If the phone is not working correctly, you may need to master reset it and also clear the cache partition. These two resets clear different parts of the phone storage. Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data.
To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time:
    • Volume Up key
    • Home key
    • Power key.
  3. When the phone vibrates, release the Power and Home key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key.
  4. Continue holding the Volume Up key until the Android System Recovery menu displays and then release. This step may take several seconds.
  5. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
  6. Press the Power key to select.
  7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
  8. Press the Power key to restart the device.
