Root Factory Reset a Rooted inspire

Fastfix

Lurker
So I have a Inspire 4g I did not know was rooted. Bought on ebay. I did a factory reset and now the phone does not turn on it boots I get to the second HTC screen and then the phone reboots. I have gone into the boot screen and when I choose recovery it loads up clockworkmod recovery v5.0.2.0. I have tried
-reboot system now didn't work
-apply update from sdcard didn't work
-install zip from sdcard didn't work
I am stuck and not sure how to restore would I just need to follow the guide for rooting or is there something I am missing to restore.
I found my answer

go to XDA developers and find your self your very own custom ROM...youll love it...they have many to choose from, or go and visit cyanogenmod.com. and upload one of there roms...i think your phone doesnt have an OS on it at the moment since you did a factory reset. JUst download the zip file, put it on the sd card, go to clockwork, install from SD card and find the file and watch the magic happen.
