Help Factory Reset - app backup?

Problems during 4.04 update apparently caused my Tab 2 7" camera to "fail". No other apps added. If I factory reset how will I recover my apps and data?

Had to do factory reset. Copied all files to my laptop first to try to preserve data and apps. Putting them back in the Tab files after reset didn't work. Some apps are paid for and others have data/history that would be good to have back.

Anyone have a hint to help me recover?

I don't know if you can save the data, but can't you just re-download the app and install it again.

MyBackPro will allow you to save apps and data. TItanium Backup is what most will recommend but I dont care too much for it.
