Factory reset - SD apps?

Hi,

I've had some odd problems since my Froyo update, calls going straight to voicemail and people not hearing me when I make or receive calls - all intermittent of course!

I've decided I'm going to reset to factory and just back up texts and contacts, I'll just reinstall the apps afterwards - probably don't need half of them anyway..

Question is they are all installed on my SD card now, will factory reset get rid of them from the mem card? I want them all gone and to start again...I'd hate to think they were wasting space on my SD card....otherwise I'll have move them back before reset..

don't think that a factory reset will wipe them from the SD card but i could be wrong.. if you're contacts etc are backed up to the SD card, then i don't think that they'll be wiped..
