Factory Reset

I have a Droid for work running FRG01B. I need to swap it with another user. Is a "Factory data reset" the best why to get this phone back to the new, out-of-the-box state so I can give it to its new owner? I'm thinking not. Any suggestions on what to do when transfering a Droid to another person?

Yes, the factory reset will git rid of all settings and data on the phone. But NOT on the SD card. If you're giving them the SD card too, I would recommend formatting that also.

It just depends on if you rooted your Droid or made any other modifications to it. IMO, the best way to return a Droid would be by using RSD lite and flashing it back to stock that way.

No modifications other than applying the FRG01B update early. Given the techno-illiteracy of this user, I don't see him hunting around for anything on this phone. It's going to be hard enough to help him understand the Andriod OS as it is.

Thanks folks.
