Root Factory reset

I used the leaked gingerbread release from sam at xda. I was wondering what the factory reset will do and hopefully not brick or anything.

I ask because i noticed my wifes atrix is much more snappier than mine and she has the official version. It might also just be the apps i have running that suck resources.

Any thoughts appreciated.
