Root Factory reset

Hi all, maybe dumb question. If I do a factory reset on my Thunderbolt to sell it will it lose root.

No it shouldn't. It should return whatever rom you have to a fresh flash state, but hboot and recovery will not be changed.

Just want to make sure all my personal info is erased if I do decide to sell. Finding it hard to give up though. Not anything that is a.must have right now,though ice cream on the nexus looked great. Loved the broswer quick controls.
