Help Factory reset?

I'm selling my Marquee and want to remove everything back to factory settings, but I've read that you can't always remove everything, as in personal info. Is this correct or is there a way to delete everything back to factory? I know there are reset settings in the phone, but will this do the trick? Thanks.

A factory reset will erase your data, but it won't touch most of the SD Card (which I'm not sure the Marquee has). Here's a quick vid to show you how to do it. I'll also recommend backing up anything you'd like to transfer to your new phone.

The Marquee does have a SD card. Why does that matter. I just want to ensure that no one can extract info from the phone once I've done the reset.
