Factory Reset

i factory reset after the upgrade. it made sense to me since at&t screwed up all the homepages post upgrade.
to me, the phone was really laggy after the upgrade. as it still seems laggy to me today, i think it is less laggy after the factory reset.
it could be my imagination though.
i really enjoy the ICS experience on the google galaxy nexus. the ICS experience on the skyrocket is blah...

I just did a factory reset..My issues I was having..
GPS taking longer to connect.
Text messages showing up out of order.
Losing signal strength.
Phone lagging.
The reset cured my issues I was having.

Just tried it out. I backed up all my apps with file expert. I then did a factory reset.
(DO NOT DO THIS IF ROOTED BTW. If you do not know what rooted means do not worry about it.)
I updated the apps that came preinstalled and chose to disable and uninstall any att apps etc. I put back on all my apps. And guess what? 2 reboots, and Then I launched like 15 apps at once. (Something that would freeze my phone before this.)
And guess what? works great, no laggyness at all. And know what else? Memory usage is now at 325mb WITH THE SAME APPS AS BEFORE EXACTLY. It used to be 650mb!! What a difference!!
I have 96 apps in total by the way.
I strongly recommend doing this.

I did the factory reset yesterday. It absolutely without question has impoved performance. My phone has stopped freezing/crashing and RAM seems to be down about 10%. I have about 160 apps. The only thing that wasn't a big improvement was the GPS connection. I have only tried it once and it took 30 seconds to 1 minute to connect but that was better than what it was before (for me at least).
