Root Fail rooting

I've try to root Samsung S. But...

- firmware is 2.3.5
- basebrand I9000XXJVS
- build number: GINGERBREAAD.XXJVS
- kernel: 2.6.35.7.I9000XXJVS-CL565837seinfra@SEP73 #2

It was root (Dark Knight), but I try to use another root. It was fail, now phone net connection has disappread and USB connection don't work. ODIN update cannot work without USB connection.

So I try to move root zip direct to memory card and try to update (home-start-voice up). It's works and I find some zip (which should be root zip). When I try to apply update I'll get everytime error message:

"E:failed to verify whole-file signature"
"E:signature verification failed"

I have some zip's which (I understand) can root phone.

- CF-root-XX-OXA_JVS-v4.1-CWM3RFS.tar
- ICS_4.0.3_r1_RC1-i9000-reupload.zip
- Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip

Can anyone help. This time my phone is dead. It can call, watch videos and so on. But USB-connection and net work.

Hey, welcome to AF! I have moved this to the All Things Root section, to get you the help you need. Thanks for understanding. :)

If you on stock firmware and you are trying to root the phone you have to use Odin software..
Are you trying to install dark knight rom.?
Have you already rooted or not (have you got cwm recovery)

Have you tried super-one click (Google it)..
You got error message because wrong file..
Does USB connection work.?
