Root FAIL: Update to Froyo Failed

I could be wrong here, but, gooseDROID, you are trying to get your phone back to stock right? In your OP you said you unrooted your phone. To my knowledge, you have to be rooted to flash, even back to stock.

Have you tried to forgo the 2.3.330 (2.1) and flash straight to the 2.3.340 (2.2.1)?

Did you boot the phone into the bootloader after you started rsd lite?
if not, try this - Open RSD Lite> load SBF file> with the phone off press "Vol. Down + Camera + Power"to boot into the bootloader then plug in the phone to the usb. try that and see if it works. or maybe you already did hopefully that works though. good luck man
