Root Failed root and stuck at 605.1

So i tried to root my thunderbolt and it failed (i don't see superuser). I'm also at firmware 605.10. I can't get the downgrade to 605.5 or 605.9 to work either.

Can someone help? I renamed the files to 05img.zip, placed on my SDcard and it went through the process in hboot, apparently successfully, but i still have 605.1.

Thanks.

what method are you trying to use?

-if you named the files 05img. zip then you named them incorrectly. they should be named "PB05IMG.zip" in order for your phone to find them. you must also have a FAT32 formatted sd card. also note that windows will automatically add the ".zip" so if you are using a windows machine and typed in "PB05IMG.zip" then you may have inadvertantly renamed it "PB05IMG.zip.zip" hence, the phone will not find them.

-if the other steps seemed to work(wich it sounds like since you have the old software) then you need to start at the steps to flash the custom PB05IMG file.

let us know some more details if you are unable to get help from the above
