Help Failed to boot 4 , Please Help

I was attempting to sbf my phone back to stock in preperation of GB last night and I got a pass result from rsd however my phone is stuck on the M logo with "failed to boot 4 starting RSD mode at the top" . I have tried everything I can think of ,different cables ,pulling sd card in and out , downloaded the sbf at least 10 times from different sources and using different extraction programs, tried 2 different computers, installed and reinstalled all current drivers and rsd lots of times and also tried to use linux to flash all with the same error.If anyone has any ideas or had this happen I would appreciate the help !

I had this same issue this morning but i fixed it by sbfing again Try doing it from a different computer as your pc my be the one to blame! I have another issue tho, even tho my phone is back up and running my HOME and BACK buttons work in reverse!!!! Key 102 and Key 158...

Not sure if you fixed this yet but I was getting the "failed to boot 4" error and I got mine to work by performing the SBF install from windows XP 32 bit, having at least a %50 charge on the battery and I had to use the original usb data cable that came with my droid X2.

Yeah like I said I tried 2 different computers a laptop and a desktop and neither one work , I tried to flash with Ubuntu and still have this error. I tried at least I would guess 50 times with every possible configuration known to man and it still does not work. Verizon sent me a replacement I just received today but am worried that they might get it running and see root and I'm in trouble.


UPDATE LoL as I was typing this I just tried the new gingerbread sbf for giggles before I sent the other one off and guess what , ITS ALIVE !!!! I dunno weird man I downloaded the other 2.2 sbf at least 10 times from different sources . Now I have to somehow explain this away to verizon.
