When I try to update my Milestone to Froyo either by downloading the Motorola_Software_update.exe or by going through the Motorola Software Update app on my computer I always get the error. "failed to uninstall previous Motorola Software Update". It doesn't matter whether I use my Desktop or my laptop, I get the error in any case. Tried contacting Motorola customer service, but it has turned into customer disservice. Anyone have any ideas about what could be going on? I'm using Windows XP Pro on my Desktop and Windows 7 on my laptop. The current phone OS is 2.1 update 1.
