yesterday i tried upgrade to ICS 4.0.4 and now am stuck....the phone neither switches off nor does it reboot.
what i did...
My set is galaxy s2 GT-i9100.
I downloaded I9100XWLPO_I9100NEELP4_I9100XXLQ6_HOME.tar.md5.
got Odin3 v3.04 with it. I got my phone into download (Odin mode), and the screen was showing custom binary download : NO.
current binary: samsung official.
I then launched Odin, loaded the PDA with the tar.md5 file i mentioned above, and connected my set to the PC. com-port detected and turned yellow and i clicked 'start' after sometime it showed "FAIL".
Then i disconnected the phone and now the screen shows the schematic diagram of the set and PC with a caution sign in between and the message- "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please try recovery mode in keis and try again". i ran keis but it's not detecting my device.
