Help Failure to enter event using Voice talk app?

I kind of like the version of Vlingo that comes with the Note. Sending texts, playing music, making calls, it does all those very well when in-car mode. But one thing it just screws up horribly is entering an event.

I say:

event meeting with Mark time 11am

it gets it right, i.e. for today (Tuesday).

I say

event meeting with Mark time 11am on Friday

it still declares the meeting is for today.

I say

event meeting with Mark time 11am date Friday 9th March

it still declares the meeting is for today.

I say

task meeting with Mark date Friday 9th March

it gets the date right for when the task is due?


Why can't it get the event right?!!!

Has anyone found a voice app that will schedule an event correctly?
