Faint green line on screen?

Basically, I bought an Android phone yesterday; the Samsung Galaxy Apollo. I've noticed that against blue's a grey's there's a faint green line going from the top of the screen, to the bottom, about a quater of the way in from the left. I tried to get it swapped today, but the guy who checked said he couldn't see anything... so basically, they're not gonna replace it for a minor fault. But it still bugs me, because if I've got a plain blue background, I can see it.

Are there any apps of fixes or something I could use to get rid of the green line?

Thanks.

Well if you can see it, then they should too. Show them when it happens. You just bought the phone yesterday, there should be a 30 day NO QUESTIONS ASKED guarantee. If they wont replace it, just return it, and then go to another store and buy another one.

Well the guy in the shop was saying that the line wouldn't cause any problems... and I can't return it because The Carphone Warehouse Doesnt do returns... only replacements if there's a fault. :/

Am trying JScreenFix... just to see if that does anything. If not, I dunno what to do...

It's not the background, because you can see it on options menu's, and when the bar is pulled down from the top. I made a mockup of what it looks like... because I dunno how to take screenshots lol.

It's fainter on my phone than I made it in the pic... but it lines up perfectly with the line that separates the icons on the drop down menu.

That would drive me freaking nuts! That's definitely a faulty screen. Turn your brightness up to max, and put the exact opposite color of the green line as your background. So if your green line is bright green then put a pure black background, or if it's dark green, put a pure white background to accent the line, then bring it back in. If they can't see it ask to talk to their managers. I wouldn't leave the store until they fix it.

Ask politely for an exchange, and if the persist to say no, tell them you'll spread the word of how awful their store and customer service was. It usually works if you email the company with how bad the custom service was and threaten to go elsewhere.

Atleast that works for me :P
