Help fake Google Play store pop-ups?

I purchased my new Droid Turbo about two weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The one thing I don't like are these pop ups the phone seems to get at random times that look like they are fake adds for the Google Play Store. I've attached screen shots of two of these pop ups. Has anyone else seen these? Does anyone know who to get rid of them?
I have the same apps I had on my last Droid (and I never had this issue on that phone) and I even have Norton Mobile on my phone which found no suspicious apps.

These are in chrome, so I bet they're browser pop ups. I'd go into menu / settings / site settings and make sure that pop ups are blocked, and you can also go into menu / settings / privacy and tap "clear browsing data".

We've seen a few of these lately:

As @doogald suggested, clear the browsing data in Chrome. You may also want to clear Chrome's data entirely (Settings > Applications > Chrome > Clear data). Or even use the file manager of your choice to delete the contents of /sdcard/Android/com.android.chrome.

You can also try Addons Detector to detect any pesky ad networks.

One other question, though: have you noticed whether this only happens on a specific Wifi network, or does it occur while you're out and about as well? I think I saw in one of the linked threads that their problem ended up being that their Wifi router's DNS had been hijacked. Might be worth checking out as well.

Good luck!

I had the same problem with fake pop up adds. Install lookout security app in playstore, turns out it was my downloaded music installer sending the popups, malware. Lookout app found it, no more popups.
