Faking an IMEI number (as Google tracks it!)

Hey guys, I don't have the education or the interest to add anything substantial to this conversation so I won't bother. However I have a question regarding LBE Privacy guard. Would this allow an app like ZumoCast to run on my HP Touchpad? It seems that the install of the app is blocked (after I backed up the apk from my phone) and I'm guessing it's because of the IMEI?

Anyway, if anyone could answer that you would have my thanks. You may now resume your heated (and very well worded) debate.

I doubt it's because of your IMEI. I bet it's because you're using a HP Touchpad. Even with Android ported onto it, it won't be compatible with everything.

LibCivil,

If you want to make a point about privacy or data protection, please continue it in the other topic you successfully hijacked here. This no longer has anything whatsoever to do with Android applications (if it ever had) and thus is off-topic for this section.
